The concept of this project was to design a small pavilion to be situated around the new V&A and located within the Dundee Waterfront site. The pavilion was to reflect the shifting city of dundee through research of Dundee from the industrial and construction to the new modern plans for the city in the future.

My idea was to create a Gallery Pavilion, allowing viewing zones to appreciate the waterfront’s full lay out design and the beauty of its visuals; the V&A, the Discovery, the Taybridge, The open public space and the view across the water.

The idea for this project was to design a pavilion to be placed within the Dundee Waterfront next to the new V&A. The Pavilion is to reflect Dundee as a changing city and I have done this by adapting my research into my designs. My final design is a gallery pavilion, linking to the v&a being an art museum but also material and shape.
